Who is The Lodge-group?

The Lodge-group stands for stylish, contemporary stays in historic homes with often, an attached brasserie. A formula for success, because the group currently consists of 8 brasseries, 9 hotels and 5 party locations located mainly in Limburg and Flemish Brabant.

The idea is very simple: a home (away) from home where conviviality prevails. This relaxed character dominates in The Lodge brasseries and hotels where individuality and hospitality are the priority. Not cool, trendy design, but tasteful and warm-hearted with respect for the building's character.

Monuments

It is not the first time The Lodge-group has been involved with the restoration of historic buildings. In 2000, one of the most beautiful monuments of Diest - 't Spijker - was transformed into a charming hotel. Then it was the turn of De Oude Kantien in Heverlee, a historic homestead near the castle of Arenberg. In 2010, the 's Hertogenmolens in Aarschot, a water mill complex from the 16th century, was given a new lease of life as a hotel, brasserie and party location, and in 2011, The Lodge-group opened a new theme hotel in the former gaol of Vilvoorde.
